Uluru

The best way to see The Rock is to walk around it. Immense in size & scale & a variety of rock formations and landscapes. Take good walking shoes, plenty of water an snacks. Approx length 3 hours.

Amazing scenery ! The base walk is probably the best way to discover Uluru (a fly net is essential). Sunset is the best time to enjoy the colorful rock while drinking a beer from the roof of your car.

The park has a $25pp AUD entry, but that's totally worth the views & hikes. Recommend the base walk around Uluru & hike to 2nd viewpoint at Kata Tjuta.

If you're travelling through to Alice Springs be sure to stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Great service and they focus on the small things from a warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival!

If it is not too hot, definitely rent a bike at the parking at the culture center! It's the best way and lot of fun to get around Uluru!
