Rent a bike to get a great view of the island but if you walk along the coast you meet more quokkas & get down to the beautiful sandy beaches more. Avoid the dirty algae foamed rivers in the middle.

The Eco Tour by Rottnest Express that takes you around the island and shows you wildlife is brilliant. Sit at the front of the boat; it's like being on a roller coaster!

Before I arrived, I thought Quokkas were the highlight but there are tons of things to do here. There are tennis courts, a golf course, beaches, snorkeling, biking, hiking.... Perthies are truly lucky

Beautiful island with incredible azure water and white sands. The quokkas are super cute too. Defiantly worth hiring bikes to get around.

Beautiful - but plagued by flies. On a day trip with bike hire the flies totally spoiled the experience. It’s a stunningly beautiful place but impossible to enjoy it surrounded by fly swarms.
