Taiwan's old streets high on the mountains which inspired hayao miyazaki. Various snacks, mountain tea and souvenirs sold here. 郭金山 peanut snacks is also worth a visit.

Love exploring the little lanes and alleys. There's this peanut brittle store that is a must try! Best peanut brittle ever in so many different flavours. Bought a ton home as souvenirs...

Famous with street food and souvenir items. Do try the peanut ice cream roll and the ah ma taro ball dessert. Very crowded on weekends and sometimes even on weekdays, prepare umbrella in case it rains

Go all the way in to the end, before you have to turn right, and get a red sausage on a stick from the lady with the big afro wig! She's quite the character, and her sausage stand is yummy!

Plan your trip and reach here at 5pm for the epic sunset view. Shop starts to close at 6, by 8 mostly are closed. Night of JiuFen is also good for photography!

映画「悲情城市」のロケに使ったことでノスタルジック街並みを散策できる観光地として人気が高い。　中でも個人的には夕方の風景が一番オススメ。フラッシュを焚かずに綺麗に撮れるカメラを持参していくと良い絵が撮れる。　その後、タクシーで基隆の夜市に行き夕食を摂るのがオススメのプラン。「基隆夜市」と言えば、一律料金で連れて行ってくれる。台北へは基隆駅から0時近くまで走っている列車に乗って帰って来られる。
