Lincoln's Inn Fields by Can Pac Swire

Lincoln's Inn Fields used to be an execution site. Under the Tudors and Stuarts, many religious martyrs accused of treachery to the Crown, died here. The Inns of Court is the heart of the legal profession in London. These inns are not inns where tourists or travelling merchants buy a beer or stay overnight. Rather, the Inns of Court are the professional legal societies for barristers in England and Wales. There are four Inns: Lincoln's Inn, Inner Temple, Middle Temple and Gray's Inn. Lincoln's Inn is recognised to be one of the world's most prestigious professional bodies of judges and lawyers. It is the largest Inn and it covers 11 acres (4.5 hectares). If you watch the British legal TV drama Silk, you probably would recognize this place.
London Fields is a tourist attraction, one of the Parks in London, Nagkakaisang Kaharain. It is located: 492 km from Birmingham, 530 km from Nottingham, 870 km from Liverpool. Read further
